Delays and Surfacings

Well, it's been a while, and I'm sure I have some explaining to do.

What's going on with the show and such? Where's the Season Finale?!

All very valid questions.

So here are some very valid answers.

The Season Finale of Salvation is long, and by long I mean a full 2 hours in length, complete with some pretty snazzy visuals. As such I've been spending considerable amount of time on it, and I think when all is said and done, there will be some very pleasent surprises in store for the look and feel of the episode.

The wonderful Christine Banna has been helping out with some pretty effective color correction and I think everyone is going to be quite pleased.

My hope is to have the movie completed by the end of December, but lets not quote me on that, since I've already missed my October 9th deadline by quite a bit.

That said, a number of exciting projects and events are in the works.

I'm still hoping to get a soundtrack CD out in the next few months. Right now, Ms Schillinger is working on a number of exciting projects in LA and all of us at Paracelsus Films are very excited for her.

In addition, to work on the Salvation Finale, some interesting pre-production work is being done on our next project. Something short. Something exciting.

Something with Zombies.

That's all I can say for now, but keep an eye out for more info very soon!

So again, I'm back, sorry for the lapse in updates. And worry not, the Season Finale is in good hands, and I hope to have to to everyone very soon!

Too Damn Funny

Every once in a while I find it necessary to turn to my old friend Captian Google and see who's talking about me. Baisically I have a show online, so I'm waiting for the internet trolls to get all snarky and critical.

Anywho, I did a search for the show's name and I got this result:

Nice.

Episode Two

Just wanted to take a moment to pimp the brand new episode of Project Nephilim, which is now up on Blip. I think people will be pleasently surprised by the level of quality Paul Ezzy brought to the show.

As much fun as I had with the student crew, Paul really made this show shine. It goes without saying that putting together a 6 hour movie on $500 can be a tad stressful, but oneo f the amazing things about what he brought to the production was worth quite a bit more.

Next time out, though a budget would be nice. There are things that having a budget can helps with. Namely the ability to control the environment, for example: air circulation vents.

I fucking hate those things.

WoW

Someone asked about that Warcraft thing.

I'm on the Khadgar server. Horde. Rephaiim.

Come find me.

Upcoming Goodies

I thought this might be a fun time to mention some things that are in the works.

-The Web Site will be getting a FAQ page, with general info on the show and answeres to questions like "Do I need to have seen Hence These Tears to understand Salvation?" and "Are you on Drugs?" (No you don't, and I'd be in a better mood if I were.)

-I'm contemplating staring a Project Nephilim related guild on my Warcraft server, but I suppose that'll all depend on the future of the Makeshift one. Speaking of, folks should come see Hansel and Gretel at the Coolidge this weekend. It's a great show, and it's got a couple of cats from Salvation in it.

-I've started putting together material for the Salvation DVD, which hope to have more info on by May. Lets just say, Abbey Lounge is getting the George Lucas treatment. New audio and some pretty snazy lighting effects.

-I've had some comments on Ms. Schillinger's amazing score and so the answer is Yes, there will be a soundtrack CD available, hopefully by May. I'm working on royalty issues as well as getting it up on iTunes possibly. It's all very exciting.

You guys should expect to see some very interesting changes to the look and feel of the show next sunday. Beginning with Episode 2, we brought in a new Director of Photography to replace some of the student crew that helped out on Episode 1. I think folks will be pleasently surprised.

Episode Two

I've been getting a lot of questions about this, so I suppose I should just put it out there:

Episode 2 Part 1 will be available online Sunday, February 22nd.

I apologize for the delay, but Windows XP hates me.

A New Hope

Well this is interesting. I'd completely forgotten I'd created this blog many moons ago. I had a number of short stories here for a while, but I've decided to re-boot, re-ignite and re-imagine. It is, after all, all the rage in Hollywood these days.

Since I last posted something here a lot has changed so I figure why not change with the times. I'll attempt to update as often as I can, with thoughts, musings (maybe a rant or two) but mostly I think this will be a place to focus on The Series.

My Series.

So I welcome you. If you have a question or a comment please feel free to pass it along. I'll do my best to answer.
